Linkstar Beacon
Our flagship product is Linkstar Beacon, a service that seeks out websites which match the target demographic or a complimenting vertical for our client's brand. We then use this data to approach independent websites and publishers to negotiate the acquisition of ad space.
The average internet user is getting more web-savvy every day, and will often hunt for specialist websites for information, products and advice, rather than relying on large untargeted sites. Linkstar Beacon puts our client's brand in front of millions of targeted consumers across thousands of websites.
Research carried out on behalf of Linkstar found that well optimised text links on websites have a 17% higher CTR (Click Through Rate) than graphical banners. Internet users are suffering from "Banner Blindness" and are starting to ignore promotional graphics. Text based links in content and on the navigation bar are still seen as trusted and recommended, stimulating the visitor's interest.
